Our History

Scott and Amanda Fox own and operate Clean Slate Restoration. Scott and Amanda were born and raised in the Kanawha Valley and take great pride in serving these communities. Scott is a US Veteran, serving 8 years in the US Coast Guard and has been in the contracting industry since 2003. Scott directs the day-to-day operations of Clean Slate and is personally involved with each and every customer. Amanda is a graduate of Elon University (B.A. Business Marketing) and helps oversee the business elements of Clean Slate's operations. Scott and Amanda have four children and are heavily involved in giving back to their community. Scott was instrumental in the founding of Hope for Appalachia, a non-profit providing a support and recovery program for individuals who are battling addiction. Scott and Amanda are passionate about helping these families fight this difficult battle.

Clean Slate Restoration has been serving the Kanawha Valley since 2002 (previously under the name of Steamatic of WV). The Foxes and their employees proudly service customers throughout the Kanawha Valley and neighboring counties. It is their goal to expand services and continue the excellence that customers have come to expect of Clean Slate Restoration. Scott and Amanda place a high value on running and operating an ethical company that treats employees and customers with respect and dignity.
